Recently, the department of economy and Information technology of zhejiang province officially announced the evaluation results of the 2025 zhejiang advanced technology innovation achievements. AMPower's independently developed project, "Intrinsic High-Safety Solid-State Sodium Salt Energy Storage System for Extreme Conditions," was successfully selected.

The solid-state sodium salt energy storage system (sodium–nickel chloride battery system) developed by AMPower is a key enabling technology supporting China's "dual-carbon" goals and the development of a new power system. Built on a complete technology chain covering advanced materials, high-end equipment, automated manufacturing, system integration, intelligent control, and scenario adaptation, the system effectively addresses performance degradation and safety challenges under extreme environmental conditions. It features intrinsic safety and strong adaptability and has already been deployed in applications including extreme energy storage, defense, and transportation.
AMPower has achieved multiple technological breakthroughs in ceramic solid electrolytes with high ionic conductivity, high-energy-density cathode materials, advanced BMS architecture with active balancing, and data-driven SOC algorithms. The project has been granted three invention patents and one utility model patent, with its overall technical level recognized as internationally advanced. The product has also passed UL 9540A certification and demonstrates leading performance in cycle life, capacity, and wide-temperature operation.

Since its market introduction in 2022, the sodium–nickel energy storage system has been widely adopted across power utilities, telecommunications, data centers, renewable energy generation, and user-side energy storage. The system also shows strong potential for future applications in electric vessels, unmanned aerial vehicles, and railway backup power systems.

Looking ahead, AMPower will remain committed to innovation, further advancing core technologies, expanding application scenarios, and accelerating the commercialization of solid-state sodium salt energy storage solutions.
