AMPower was invited to participate in the SBS6 International Sodium Battery Symposium to explore pathways for industrial-scale development.

On September 3-4 local time, Zhejiang Anli Energy Co., Ltd. was invited to participate in the Sixth International Sodium Battery Symposium (SBS6) held in Dresden, Germany. Hosted by the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems (IKTS), the symposium coincided with the 19th European Ceramic Society Congress (ECerS 2025). It stands as one of the most influential international academic and industrial gatherings in the global sodium battery field, attracting the largest number of participants from the sodium salt battery industry worldwide. The symposium attracted sodium salt battery research institutions and manufacturers from Germany, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, South Korea, and other countries.

This symposium will bring together leading scientists, industry experts, and energy storage companies from around the world to focus on cutting-edge topics including sodium-ion batteries, solid-state sodium batteries, ceramic electrolytes, and large-scale energy storage applications.

 

As a pioneer in the sodium salt battery field, Yu Zhenjiang, Vice President of AMPower and Director of the Sodium Salt Division at the Central Research Institute of Chaowei Group, served as the third keynote speaker at the plenary session. He delivered a presentation titled "The Challenges and Methodology for Scaling Up Sodium Metal Chloride Battery Production Lines," He introduced the company's accumulated practical experience and technical methodologies in scaling up sodium salt battery production lines, demonstrating its commitment to advancing the commercial application of intrinsically safe energy storage technologies. The presentation highlighted key technical challenges encountered during production line scaling, process optimization strategies, and quality control methodologies, offering practical insights for the global sodium battery industry. It also showcased the safety and reliability of sodium salt batteries in extreme environments, along with successful case studies in critical applications such as oil and gas, grid energy storage, rail transportation, and communication base stations.
