Chilwee Sodium Salt Battery Energy Storage System Is Located in Beijing Baozhigu

After 26 days of intensive and orderly construction, the sodia-salt battery energy storage system constructed by Zhejiang AMPower Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as AMPower, a subsidiary of Chilwee Group, has been put into operation in Beijing Baozhigu International Convention Center.

The 100kW/420kWh and 150kW/500kWh sodium-salt battery energy storage systems completed this time are located in Beijing Baozhigu International Convention Center. The project adopts the sodium-salt battery jointly produced by Chaowei and General Electric Company of the United States. According to the characteristics of the batteries, advanced battery management system (BMS) and energy management system (EMS) are configured. The energy storage control system is linked with the intelligent energy management system (IEMS) of the park, providing customers with peak cutting and valley filling, peak valley arbitrage, transformer expansion, emergency power supply, intelligent scheduling and other functions. After the project is put into operation, the power grid capacity of the park will be increased by more than 30% and the direct electricity cost will be reduced by more than 50%.

According to the relevant person in charge ofAMPower, the sodium-salt battery energy storage system, as an important module in the comprehensive intelligent energy system, can provide basic support for the comprehensive intelligent energy. Through the comprehensive intelligent energy + Internet of things technology, the intelligent energy Internet platform is built. Realize the revolution of energy production and consumption mode of "multi-source complementary, two-way supply, real-time matching, intelligent scheduling and intelligent settlement".

He said that the project is an energy storage module in the comprehensive smart energy demonstration project implemented by China Power Investment Group Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as: China Power Wisdom). The project fully reflects the development concept of comprehensive smart energy of State Power Investment Group Co., LTD., and strives to build a demonstration project of comprehensive smart energy with domestic influence, so as to realize zero-carbon and efficient comprehensive smart energy supply.

According to the introduction, the project began to be contacted at the beginning of January this year, and the original plan was to complete the delivery at the end of May. Due to the Spring Festival holiday in the middle, the time was not very rich. In order to smoothly deliver the project on time and with good quality, AMPower set up a project implementation team consisting of company leaders and key personnel from all departments to formulate project implementation plan, scheme design and reasonable allocation of various resources. All the work is carried out in an orderly and comprehensive way.

However, a bigger test awaits the project team. At the end of January, the COVID-19 epidemic hit, and the project team members and supporting suppliers could not work as planned. Therefore, members of the project team communicated repeatedly through online videos, emails and other means, calculated the specific implementation details, took risks into account, and made efforts to fully resume work and production immediately after the end of the epidemic.

Moreover, in order to enter the construction site in early May, the project team entered Beijing for quarantine observation in late April according to the requirements of Beijing's epidemic prevention and control. After the adjustment of Beijing's epidemic control at the end of April, the project team immediately sent "elite soldiers" to the construction site as planned in early May. During the construction, the project team worked overtime and promoted the project quickly and orderly, regardless of gains and losses, and tried to recover the progress delayed by the epidemic. With the joint efforts of everyone, the project successfully completed the trial operation and debugging on May 31, and was officially put into operation in early June. The successful construction of the project has not only been highly recognized by China Power Wisdom and other relevant parties, and specially sent letters of praise, but also provided the entrance and channel for Anli Company to deeply participate in the national Internet + smart energy strategy.
